     Grimes County currently has 5 4-H members representing our program at the National 4-H Conference in Washington, D.C. National 4-H Conference is a unique citizenship and leadership development opportunities for 4-H members 15-19 years old across the nation. At the conference, held at the National 4-H Youth Conference Center, delegates have the opportunity to participate in roundtable discussion groups with their peers to tackle youth issue topics and prepare a briefing to present to the federal agencies in Washington, D.C. Howdy 4-H members and family! Friendly reminder that several Grimes County contest deadlines are fast approaching in the coming week! Texas Dove Hunters Association will be awarding 9- $500 scholarships in May!

TDHA is in the 5th year of it’s scholarship program and will have awarded 36 scholarships to students by the end of May! Application available at: All applications must be postmarked by Monday, April 3, 2017!! 

Capital Farm Credit Scholarship Sponsored by: Bryan Credit Office

Five (5) $1,000 one-time scholarships awarded to five individuals from area high schools.  Applications and all supporting documents must be received by April 21, 2017.  No late submissions will be accepted.
